The Storm Lake baseball team traveled to Holstein and went home with a 12-0 win over Ridge View. Charlie Dvergsten pitched five innings of three hit ball and struck out ten batters to get the win. Storm Lake had 13 hits in the game led by Jake White who went 4-for-4 with 4RBI. Tornadoes play again tomorrow night at Denison-Schleswig with the JV game set for 5:15pm. The Alta-Aurelia baseball team started their season with a 12-1 five inning win over West Monona. Sam Colerick threw all five innings allowing only one hit and he struck out 11 batters. Gavin Sleezer drove in three runs. The Warriors host Spencer Tuesday night.
