BVU Launches Online Master of Education in Educational Administration Program

Buena Vista University is launching a new online Master of Education in Educational Administration program.

The program’s focus is building leadership, and will provide currently licensed educators with the necessary knowledge, skills, and certification to excel in a variety of leadership roles within education, including being a principal. Graduates of the program will receive principal certification in the state of Iowa and in other states on an individual basis.

At 495 dollars per credit hour, a news release from BVU states that the university is committed to providing a high-quality and affordable option for individuals aspiring to advance their careers in educational leadership. The M.Ed program is designed to accommodate the busy schedules of educators. The program utilizes innovative delivery methods to enhance the learning experience. Each class includes applied simulations and cutting-edge assignments for optimal principal development.

The BVU M.Ed faculty brings national perspectives to the program, ensuring students receive a well-rounded education and gain valuable real-world experience. BVU also has a connected alumni network with graduates working in schools in every Iowa county to provide students with valuable networking resources.

The first cohort for the Master of Education in Educational Administration starts August 26th.
