A wanted Storm Lake man was arrested this week following a pursuit.
According to the Storm Lake Police Department, at around 12:50 Tuesday afternoon, an officer attempted to make contact with 21-year-old John Yalle at the local WalMart. Yalle was wanted on a warrant through the Iowa Department of Corrections for escaping from a residential treatment facility, as well as a Woodbury County warrant for voluntary absence from custody.
Yalle fled northbound on foot from the store when the officer approached him. He was ultimately taken into custody following a foot pursuit.
Yalle was additionally charged with Interference With Official Acts, a simple misdemeanor. He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail and held without bond.
