Buena Vista University’s Master of Education in Special Education program has been selected by Forbes as one of the Best Master’s in Special Education Online Programs of 2023.
The Forbes ranking, which featured ten programs, is based on a variety of factors including student outcomes, affordability, flexibility, and academic quality. Among its list of programs, BVU’s Master of Education in Special Education offers the most affordable pricing at 285 dollars per-credit-hour, and is the only Iowa school to be recognized.
BVU’s Master of Education program is completely online. The two-year program is designed to provide current teachers with the knowledge and skills they need to be effective educators in the field of special education. Students have the option to choose among four concentrations and they earn a special education consultant endorsement alongside their master’s degree upon completing the program. BVU is one of only a few schools that offer all three strategist special education tracks at a graduate level online.
BVU’s Master of Education in Special Education program was also recognized by OnlineU as the Most Affordable Online Master’s in Special Education program.
