Wine and beer sales have been allowed the past couple of years at grandstand events during the Clay County Fair.
Now, for the first time with this year’s fair, alcohol sales will also be taking place OUTSIDE of the grandstand. General Manager Jeremy Parsons says a hospitality tent will be set up on the northeast side of the fairgrounds…(audio clip below)
Parsons says alcohol sales will be transferred back to the grandstand during ticketed events. The Clay County Fair runs September 10th through the 18th.
