The Storm Lake City Council on Monday approved a special one-day outdoor waterpark pass rate at King’s Pointe for the upcoming “Kids Fest” event.
“Kids Fest” will be held on Sunday, June 9th. Admission into the outdoor waterpark that day will be free for children under 11 years old, and five dollars for those that are over the age of 12.
The 3rd annual “Kids Fest” is being moved to Chautauqua Park this year. The event has previously been held at Awaysis Park, but is being moved due to construction in that area. City Manager Keri Navratil said the location change isn’t expected to be permanent, but indicated that it may be considered depending on how well Chautauqua Park works out this year.
