A Storm Lake man was arrested on Thursday on charges related to probation violation.
According to the Storm Lake Police Department, a wanted man identified as 25-year-old Ka Pa Thaw, was located by officers at 304 East 1st Street. Thaw was taken into custody on a valid arrest warrant for felony violation of probation. Police allege that during a search, officers located baggies containing suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on Thaw’s person.
Thaw was charged with 3rd Offense Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class D felony…and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a 73 hundred dollar bond.
