Storm Lake Parks Adding Free Wi-Fi

Storm Lake now has new Public Wi-Fi Access Points in both several parks and recreation areas around the city. People will be able to use these areas to do a variety of activities including checking emails, using social media, and stream lower resolution videos. There is no cost to use the Wi-Fi. In order to use it, you’ll need to find the local connection, which will be labeled by location such as Sunset Park, Chautauqua Park, Seneca Park, Scout Park, Frank Starr Park, Campground or Awaysis Park. There is no password required and when moving from different parks, just reconnect to the new site’s access. The existing public access Wi-Fi system located at the Storm Lake Public Library will continue to be available at no additional cost as well.
