The initial plan called for the state to retain the fishery/jetty area of the marina, along with the beach at the marina site. The remaining 16.5 acres of the property were expected to be deeded to BV County.
Once the transfer is completed, the BV County Conservation Board will decide whether to use the property as a full marina or just a restaurant/bar. Potential third-party vendors still have until this Friday, February 23rd to submit forms. Go to the BV County website for more information.
