A reminder that the Iowa Department of Natural Resources is hosting a town hall-style meeting in the area this week.
The meeting is scheduled for this Wednesday, February 21st starting at 6:30pm at the Speaker Park Shelter House in Lake View. During the meeting, local staff will provide updates on recently completed hunting seasons, discuss possible changes to hunting rules and regulations, and address other topics as requested.
The meeting is open to the public. Comments collected from all of the public meetings will be considered, along with other related comments received by the Iowa DNR before proposing changes to hunting rules and regulations. Proposed rules will be presented to the Natural Resources Commission during a regular public meeting for consideration and additional public comment.
