Storm Lake Library Offering Educational Tech Sessions

The Storm Lake Public Library will offer two additional public programs this month in its Community Connect Series.

The Storm Lake Library is one of 30 across the country participating in the initiative to offer internet access and financial education to patrons in rural communities.

A Cloud Storage session will be held on Monday, April 22nd at 10:30am at the library. Participants will learn what the Cloud is and how it can help them.

A Safety From Frauds and Scams session will be held on Tuesday, April 30th at 10:30am. Attendees will learn safety measures that can protect them from financial exploitation.

Everyone is welcome to attend the free sessions. Pre-registration is not required.

“Community Connect : Fostering Digital Access” is made possible by Capital One, as well as the American Library Association. Wi-Fi hotspots and laptop computers are available to the public for checkout at the Storm Lake Library thanks to grant funds.
