A total of 68 units of blood were collected at the two LifeServe Blood Center blood drives that were held in Storm Lake earlier this month.
The blood drives were hosted to support the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center and over 130 other local hospitals served by LifeServe. The blood collected has the ability to save over 200 local lives.

LifeServe blood drives scheduled in Storm Lake during the month of March include Tuesday, March 7th from 12:30 to 5:30pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church…and Friday, March 17th from 9am to 1pm at the United Methodist Church.
