Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Celebrating Economic Development Week

The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation is celebrating Economic Development Week this week.

The global initiative recognizes and honors the dedicated work of economic developers and their contributions to communities around the world. Corridor President/CEO Curt Strouth says this week is a great time to reflect on collective achievements and to plan for a future of inclusive and sustainable growth. Strouth says businesses, community leaders, and the public are invited to join the Corridor in celebrating its progress and to engage in meaningful discussions about the economic future in the corridor region of Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson, and Emmet Counties.

Economic Development Week was created in 2016 by the International Economic Development Council. This year’s Economic Development Week celebrates Economic Development Heroes who are pioneers in their communities. Throughout this week, the Corridor will be sharing videos, social media posts, and stories about economic development in the Corridor Region, as well as who the Corridor is and what they do.
