A flood warning remains in effect for the Little Sioux River at Linn Grove until 7pm Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service, minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. The river stage was at 18.9 feet at 8am yesterday (Sun) morning. The flood stage is 18 feet. The maximum river stage for the Little Sioux at Linn Grove over the weekend was 19.3 feet. The river is expected to continue to fall through at least the first half of today (Mon). Additional rises are possible with rain in the forecast later today and tonight.
The city park in Sioux Rapids remains flooded.
