The Storm Lake School Board on Wednesday approved a new fitness services agreement for the high school.

BVRMC will provide two trainers three times a week for eight weeks in the summer, and 44 weeks during the school year. Superintendent Stacey Cole said the district is excited about the agreement…

Certified fitness trainers will manage and oversee weight room activities at the high school during the summer on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7 to 9am…and during the school year on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6:30 to 7:30am.

Dr. Cole said one of the trainers will be former Storm Lake Early Elementary Principal and educator Mike Sullivan. The annual cost of the fitness services agreement is 15 thousand dollars.
