Royal Woman Charged for Allegedly Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated With Children Present

A Royal woman was charged last week for operating a vehicle with two young children while intoxicated.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of the alleged incident last Wednesday, February 14th. A deputy located 29-year-old Hunter Birdsall and the vehicle she was driving at her residence. The deputy conducted an investigation and determined that Birdsall had been consuming alcoholic beverages and that she operated the vehicle while intoxicated. A three-year-old and a one-year-old child were reportedly present in the vehicle.

Birdsall was transported to the Clay County Jail and charged with 3rd Offense Operating While Intoxicated, a class D felony…two counts of Child Endangerment, both aggravated misdemeanors…Driving While Revoked, a serious misdemeanor…and Violation of a Restricted License, a simple misdemeanor.
