Storm Lake’s Lighted Parade looks to end 2023 with a magical feeling.
Miracle on Lake Avenue will take place in Storm Lake this Thursday, December 7th. The fun begins at 5:30 pm, with the parade at about 6:15 pm. The route will travel south down three blocks of Lake Avenue, onto Railroad Street, and back north to Santa’s Castle. The public is welcome to attend this event, including treats, a free concert, the annual tree-lighting ceremony, and more.
There will be approximately 30 businesses participating including Storm Lake Radio, and additional entries can still be registered by emailing communications@stormlake.org or calling Dana Larson at City Hall, 732-8000.
Santa’s Castle will be open from 6-8 pm, where kids can meet Santa and walk through the beautiful displays. In addition, St. Mary’s students will be on hand helping children pick out affordable gifts to give to their loved ones. Warming stations will be available as well. Don’t forget to end the night at Lake Avenue Lounge from 7-9 pm with a free concert from Neil Anders. Again, Miracle on Lake Avenue happens this Thursday, December 7th.
