Storm Lake has been named a trees grant recipient from a well-known energy provider.
According to a press release, Alliant Energy has selected Storm Lake as a winner of its “One Million Trees” initiative grant for 2023.
The City is planning a tree planting program due to heavy ash tree losses over the past two years. The program will begin this coming fall. More details will soon be made available.
