The annual balloon bash and cake dig fundraiser in Storm Lake, which coincides with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, is going on this week.
Paxton’s Jewelry is again teaming up with BVRMC’s “PINK” project for the event. Every ten-dollar donation will give someone the chance to bash a balloon at Paxton’s, all of which contain different types of gemstones. Winners of pearl gemstones will be contestants in Paxton’s Diamond Cake Dig for a chance at the grand prize of a rose gold diamond ring valued at 700-dollars.
Balloons will be available at Paxton’s Jewelry this Wednesday, October 5th through Saturday, October 8th, or until they are sold out. The Grand Prize Cake Dig begins at noon on Saturday.
All donations for the balloon bash and cake dig fundraiser will go toward BVRMC’s “PINK” program to help make mammograms accessible for all women.
