Hy-Vee is voluntarily recalling eight products, including cheese, from all of their stores following a national recall.
The recall comes after Hy-Vee was notified by Old Europe Cheese Inc that some cheese products that it manufactured for Saputo Cheese USA’s distribution may have been contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Hy-Vee hasn’t received any reports of illnesses. A list of the recalled products can be found below. The “best by” expiration for the impacted cheeses ranges from September 28th to December 14th. Customers who purchased any of the products should discard them or return them to their local Hy-Vee store for a full refund.
