3A at Emerald Hills
Storm Lake finished 5th with a 342. MOC-Floyd Valley was 1st with 303. Spencer also advanced to next Monday’s district meet in Carroll with 321.
Charlie Dvergsten led Storm Lake with an 80 and missed advancing by one stroke.
2A at Carroll
Kuemper finished 1st with 299. Cherokee was 2nd with 335. Both advance to a district meet in Orange City.
Ridge View finished 3rd with 342, and they also advance to districts since Kuemper was playing on their home course. Kellen Clausen led the Raptors with the 6th-best individual score of 80.
Manson Northwest Webster scored a 355 to finish 4th. Tucker Smith moves on to districts finishing 4th carding a 78.
South Central Calhoun 6th with 359. Caleb Gaffney moves on to districts after finishing 8th with 81.
Pocahontas Area 8th at 407.
2A at Sibley
Emmetsburg finished 1st with 326, one better than Estherville Lincoln Central. Sioux Central was 8th as they carded a 413.
2A at Willow Dale in Mapleton
Unity Christian ended up in 1st with 323. East Sac County was 6th with 369. Sam Julin led the Raiders by carding an 88.
2A at Tri Center Neola
OA-BCIG advances to districts in Panorama by finishing 2nd with 317, which was 11 strokes behind Treynor. The Falcons were led by Axton Miller’s 65. Ben Hofmeister scored a 78.
1A at Fort Dodge
Newell Fonda finished 5th at 351. West Fork was 1st with 325.
1A at Onawa
Alta Aurelia advances to districts in Anita thanks to a 1st place finish with a 330. MMC-RU also advances by placing 2nd with 334. Jack Bloom was the runner-up medalist with 77, three off the lead. Cale Brechwald also medaled by shooting a 79.
