In a Class 1A First Round Playoff game, the Ridge View Raptors fell on the road at the Emmetsburg E-Hawks 20-8
The E-Hawks would kick off the scoring in the opening quarter after the Raptors attempted an onside kick. The E-Hawks would go on an 11-play, 54-yard drive that took 5:33, capped off by a Jace Nelson-Brown 2-yard touchdown run with 6:27 to go. The E-Hawks took the early 7-0 lead. The Raptors would later muff a punt and that set the E-Hawks up. The E-Hawks would strike with no time on the clock in the first quarter after a 32-yard touchdown reception by Cameron Madden to extend the E-Hawk lead. The E-Hawks would extend their lead to 13-0 after a missed extra point. The teams would trade turnovers in the second quarter and the game would go to the half with the E-Hawks up 13-0.
The teams would trade punts in the third quarter. The E-Hawks would have good field position after a bad snap on a punt by the Raptors. The E-Hawks would drive 56 yards in 2:26 and a Gavin Swanson 1-yard touchdown run would cap off. The E-Hawks would extend their lead to 20-0 with 1:56 to go in the third quarter. The Raptors would find the scoreboard in the fourth quarter with a safety of the E-Hawks on a fumble to cut the lead to 20-2. The ensuing drive the Raptors would find the endzone but fail the two-point conversion to cut the lead to 20-8. The E-Hawks would go on to win 20-8
The E-Hawks advance to the Class 1A pod playoffs with a record of 7-2, and the Raptors wrap up the season with a record of 4-5
