The Le Mars football team is heading into the 4A playoffs next week with a 7-2 record after they beat Storm Lake 55-14 Friday night at Storm Lake.
Quarterback Teagen Kasel ran for 108 yards and two touchdowns and passed for two more and the Bulldogs scored touchdowns on their first seven possessions. Le Mars had 358 total yards of offense with 295 of them coming from their rushing attack.
Storm Lake scored both of their touchdowns in the 4th quarter as Carson Lullmann threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Rylan Richardson and hit David William in stride for a 67 yard strike. Lullmann finished the game 15-for-24 for 165 yards.
The Tornadoes finish the year with a 3-6 overall record and 1-4 in district play. They graduate 15 seniors. Click below to hear from head coach Drake Curry.
