The East Sac County girls soccer team fell to West Central Valley Wildcats 2-0 in a defensive affair
The first half saw a defensive lockdown for both teams. The match-up was so even that after the first 40 minute both side had only mustered one shot on goal each. The second half saw the same thing as the Raiders would not get a shot on goal in the half. The Wildcats would hit a 35-yard shot with 17 minutes left to take a 1-0 lead. Later in the half the Wildcats would add a 25-yard strike with 11 minutes to go to lead 2-0. The Wildcats would go on to win 2-0.
The loss drops the Raiders to 2-4, the Wildcats improve to 6-3. Raiders have a quick turn-around as they play in the Denison Tournament Saturday morning at 9:00am

The East Sac County boys fell on the road to 1A #6 West Central Valley 3-1. The game would go to the half with the Wildcats up 3-1, and the Raider defense would hold them there. The Raider goal was scored by Luke Wright and assisted by Elias Aragon. Luke Wernimont collected 22 saves. Head Coach Sam Ellis said after the game, “We played a great final 40 minutes (of the match)!”
