The Warriors jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the 1st inning which included a two-run homerun by Gavin Sleezer. Alta Aurelia scored three in the 2nd, and sent 11 batters to the plate in a six-run 4th. Brechwald had three hits and an RBI, Sam Sennert had two hits and an RBI, and Camden Reinert and Gabe Olsen each drove in two.
Alta Aurelia had 11 hits. The Rebels only hit was a one-out single by Max Wittmaack in the 4th.
Alta Aurelia ups their record to 9-5, 5-1 in the Twin Lakes Conference. The Warriors play Friday at Manson Northwest Webster.
Sioux Central (8-5, 4-2) plays tomorrow (Thur) at South O’Brien.
