Storm Lake United Spring Comedy Show

King’s Pointe, with the help of Storm Lake United will be hosting The Spring Comedy Show on Saturday, March 18th.

The Regatta restaurant will have Dinner and drink specials that evening at 5 p.m. with the show to follow at 7:30 p.m. in the Awaysis Ballroom. Tickets are $10 and will be on sale at the King’s Pointe front desk starting this Thursday (Feb 16th).

TeeHee’s Comedy Club has a full line-up planned for Storm Lake with host Sean Dengler, feature Jorge Ramirez, and headliner Tyler Walsh.

Seating is limited to the first 150 guests, and then space will be limited to standing room only. A cash bar will be available. For more information, check Storm Lake United or King’s Pointe Facebook pages for updates.

SeanDenglergrew up in Traer, Iowa. Bonus points if you know where it is. From growing up in this small town to living in the big city of Des Moines,Seanhas lived a life full of different experiences he shares through comedy with audiences across the country and throughout Iowa. He has written for the Iowa Starting Line, from his experience trying out for the Iowa Wolves to power-ranking gas station breakfast pizzas.

Main stage performer Jorge Ramirez is an American Mexican comedian originally from California. His innocent sense of curiosity will bring to light the questions you should have asked the universe, but never have. Praised by Joe List, Jorge is a name you may not recognize, but will never forget.

With a dip in his lip and a glint in his eye, Tyler Walsh has quickly emerged as a unique, singular comedic voice in the Midwest and beyond. He has traded in rodeo clown barrels and donkey basketball games to stages with Noel Miller, Larry the Cable Guy and the like. A small-town Iowa native, Tyler takes his unique experiences and makes them relatable to any crowd – whether it’s an urban club or grain bin country. He will leave you saying you saw him when.
