The City of Storm Lake has been announced as one of the latest 25 T-Mobile Hometown Grant recipients.
The nearly 50-thousand dollar grant will go toward creating the Harmony Garden, which will be a welcoming gather place for all residents in the Storm Lake downtown area. The garden will feature outdoor musical instruments representing multiple cultures, along with accessible seating, game tables, a covered area, and outdoor electronics charging.
The T-Mobile Hometown Grant check presentation event was hostedthis (Thur) morning with representatives including T-Mobile and local Storm Lake city officials at the Public Library/Witter Gallery.
