PFLAG of Storm Lake and SALUD will host a candidate forum Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Buena Vista University (BVU).
The forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Forum Room 100. The event will feature candidates seeking federal and state offices representing the Storm Lake area and surrounding communities.
Organizers say six candidates have expressed interest in participating. The forum will give attendees an opportunity to hear candidates discuss issues affecting the region and their priorities for office.
Dr. Bradley Best, professor of political science at BVU, will moderate the forum.
The event is open to the public. PFLAG of Storm Lake and SALUD are encouraging residents to attend and participate.
The 2026 general election is scheduled for Nov. 3.
