A vehicle was heavily damaged and the driver was injured in a rollover accident in Clay County.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the mishap occurred around 6:45 Thursday morning at the 27 hundred mile of 300th Street. 27-year-old Taylor Elliot of Terril was driving a 2011 Ford Taurus westbound. Elliot was approaching a curve in the road when a semi-truck crossed the center line into her lane. Elliot swerved to avoid colliding with the semi, lost control of the vehicle, and entered the south ditch. The vehicle rolled and came to rest upright.
Elliot sustained minor injuries, while the vehicle received major damage.
