A train collided with a vehicle between Storm Lake and Alta in the Lake Creek area this (Tues) afternoon.
According to an eyewitness report, it happened shortly before 3:30pm. The train was headed west when the collision occurred. The driver of the vehicle is apparently ok and was seen walking not long after the crash. Highway 7 was rerouted for approximately 20 minutes after the incident.
