A Storm Lake street will be temporarily closed next week for a utility project.
Beginning this coming Monday, April 24th, West 6th Street will be closed between Renshaw Drive and Highway 110. The closure is expected for up to a week, which will allow a contractor to extend underground water and sewer lines in the area. Elementary School traffic will still be able to exit using Renshaw Drive and Vista Drive.
The portion of West 6th Street will be temporarily patched with gravel until concrete replacement can be scheduled. The replacement will be coordinated with the schools to minimize issues with drop-off and pick-up traffic.
