Porsch encouraged residents to bring downed branches and twigs from their yards to the recycling center if they can or set them on a curb, and the city will pick them up in the coming days.
Shingles, siding, and other debris can be dropped off at dumpsters at the fire station, discovery center, and Field of Dreams.
GoServ Global will be at the fire station the rest of this week to assist residents.
The Buena Vista County Historical Museum was severely damaged from the storm. The roof on the building was lost, which resulted in damage to most of the items inside.
