Grand Marshal nominations are now being accepted for the 2025 Storm Lake Star Spangled Big Parade.
A committee will use a three-question nomination form to choose the parade leader based on volunteering experience, leadership, and goals that further enhance the Storm Lake area. Nominees should have a track record of positively influencing the community through volunteer work, leadership in community programs, or having gone above and beyond the call of duty and dedicating countless hours of service. There is no age limit for nominees. The winner will be announced by June 1st.
Nomination forms can be downloaded at www.starspangledspectacular.net or picked up at Storm Lake United. They are due by May 16th at the Storm Lake United office or by emailing stormlakestarspangled@gmail.com.
