Reward Increase Approved in David Schultz Case

The reward has gone up in the case of a Wall Lake man who’s been missing for more than two months.

The Sac County Board of Supervisors has agreed to raise the reward to at least 25 thousand dollars for information that leads to the whereabouts of David Schultz. There’s a condition that the money has to be spent by November, and the money will go away if it’s not claimed by then due to conditions imposed by the American Rescue Plan.

Anyone with information should contact the Sac County Sheriff’s Office at 712-662-7217, or the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation at 712-262-1873.

Schultz was last seen on November 20th. He left his home that evening and was reported missing the following day. Schultz was scheduled to pick up a load of pigs in the Eagle Grove area and transport them to Sac City. Schultz’s semi was found abandoned at the junction of Highway 20 and Highway 71.
