Governor Kim Reynolds this past Friday announced several appointments to Iowa’s various boards and commissions, including a few local residents.
Mayra Martinez of Buena Vista County was appointed to the Early Childhood Iowa State Board. Jim Christensen of Buena Vista County was appointed to the Environmental Protection Commission. Gary Langbein of Sac County was selected as a Renewable Fuel Infrastructure Board member. Amanda Miller of Pocahontas County was appointed to the Board of Sign Language Interpreters and Translators. Bill Anderson of Cherokee County was appointed to the Transportation Commission.
All of those appointments are subject to confirmation by the Iowa Senate.
