Another Increase in Reward Fund for David Schultz

The reward fund for a missing Wall Lake man has increased again.

According to information on the Sac County Crime Stoppers Facebook page, the organization’s board members met last Wednesday to discuss updates to the reward fund for David Schultz. Thanks to donations through the Iowa State Bank account and Venmo, the potential reward now sits at $28,400. The total amount includes the $25,000 from the American Rescue Plan which is available until November of this year.

Schultz was last seen on November 20th. He left his home that evening and was reported missing the following day. Schultz was scheduled to pick up a load of pigs in the Eagle Grove area and transport them to Sac City. Schultz’s semi was found abandoned at the junction of Highway 20 and Highway 71.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of David Schultz should contact the Sac County Sheriff’s Office at 712-662-7217, or email tips@saccountyattorneyiowa.gov. Anyone who wants to contribute to the reward funds for David Schultz can do so at Iowa State Banks in Sac City, Lake View, and Odebolt. A Venmo account has also been created for Sac County Crime Stoppers which will contribute to the reward. The Venmo account is @SacCoCrimeStoppers.
