A Lakeside man was arrested in Storm Lake over the weekend on a felony charge for driving under the influence.
According to the Storm Lake Police Department, at approximately 1am Sunday, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driving erratically on Sunrise Park Road. The driver was identified as 41-year-old Jesus Gonzalez Gonzalez. Police allege he showed signs of alcohol impairment, and had a barred drivers license through the State of Iowa. Gonzalez Gonzalez was taken into custody on scene, and was transported to the Buena Vista County Jail for further evaluation.
Gonzalez Gonzalez was charged with 3rd Offense Operating While Intoxicated, a class D felony…and Driving While Barred, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was booked into the BV County Jail on a seven thousand dollar bond.
