Lake View Man Sentenced to Prison for Sexual Abuse of Girl in 2017

A Lake View man was sentenced this week in Sac County District Court to serve 20 years in prison for sexually abusing a child six years ago.

47-year-old William Biller previously pleaded guilty to 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse and Lascivious Acts With A Child, both class C felonies. Biller will also be placed on the Iowa Sex Offender Registry for the rest of his life.

According to the Sac County Attorney’s Office, the victim was 13-years-old when Biller committed the offenses in February of 2017. Criminal complaints indicate the victim reported the incidents last month. The victim said she had been sexually abused on multiple occasions by Biller at her mother’s residence in Early when Biller was tucking her into bed, and her mother wasn’t in the room. Biller was the victim’s mother’s boyfriend.

During an interview with authorities on March 8th of this year, Biller admitted that he had inappropriately touched the girl several times for multiple weeks. Biller was arrested by the Sac County Sheriff’s Office on March 11th.
