The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation announces the hiring of a Senior Vice President of Economic Development.
Trevor Smith will serve in the position for the regional economic development organization that serves Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson, and Emmet counties. Smith graduated from Spirit Lake High School before receiving a Bachelor of Science in Sports Studies at the University of Iowa. He went on to attend the University of Nevada Las Vegas to receive his Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction for Education Technology.
Smith will assume his responsibilities with the Corridor in November.
