Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for New BVU Student Residence Hall

Ground was broken this (Fri) afternoon on the new Buena Vista University student residence hall.

The new apartment-style housing unit will be located where McCorkle Hall currently stands on the corner of Early Street and West 4th Street.

The new BVU residence hall is scheduled to open in the fall of 2025.

The four-story apartment building will house 185 students, and will offer three different fully furnished room styles including studio options. Amenity spaces will include open and private social lounges, study spaces, meeting rooms, laundry facilities, an outdoor courtyard, and a workout center.

The new BVU residence hall is scheduled to open in the fall of 2025.
