A Goodwill of the Great Plains program pertaining to veterans and active military members is underway.
Goodwill’s Boots to Suits program runs through November 14th at all Goodwill of the Great Plains retail stores, which includes Storm Lake. Veterans and active military members are eligible to get a free 40-dollar store voucher which can go toward clothing and accessories, especially items that can help find employment. Last year the program served over a thousand veterans and active military members.
Visit your nearest Goodwill of the Great Plains store to receive a voucher. Proof of military service, such as a military ID, is required.
Veterans looking for employment can take advantage of the many free job training and community service programs offered by Goodwill of the Great Plains. Those who need help finding a job can stop by the Goodwill Job Center in Storm Lake.
