Residents throughout the region are urged to secure outbuildings.
According to authorities, there have been multiple reports recently of burglaries and thefts involving outbuildings and vehicles, and in some cases, hog confinements.
Authorities urge everyone to keep items secured and report any suspicious activity. Those with security cameras are asked to check them periodically for anything unusual.
