A downtown assessment study is coming to Storm Lake, and a survey is available to the public prior to the assessment.
Downtown development will be the focus when Storm Lake is visited by a team of downtown revitalization specialists from the Iowa Economic Development Authority’s Downtown Resource Center. The City of Storm Lake is coordinating the Downtown Assessment, which is scheduled for April 23rd through the 25th. According to a City of Storm Lake news release, the Assessment will consist of an intense, on-site study of the downtown business district. A public presentation will be given at the end of the visit.
A short pre-visit online survey is available for the Storm Lake public to share input. Click here to access the survey. A QR code is also available to access the survey. The deadline for completing the survey is April 12th.
The Assessment follows a Downtown Master Plan that was recently completed by the City of Storm Lake.
