The Storm Lake Fire Department responded early yesterday morning to a vehicle fire that spread to multiple cars on the city’s east side.
Crews were dispatched around 1:50 a.m. to 601 Hudson St. after a report of a car on fire with two nearby vehicles at risk.
When firefighters arrived, they found all three vehicles actively burning. Crews began suppression efforts immediately to keep the fire from spreading further. The department says all three vehicles sustained significant damage before the flames were brought under control.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
