A first-ever event for Buena Vista University will be held later this month.
The inaugural Beaver Ball will be held on Saturday, February 24th at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines. 2024 BVU Alumni Award recipients will be honored at the event, and funds will be raised for students scholarships.
The Beaver Ball will feature a social hour, dinner, a program with special recognition of the alumni award winners, a university update from President Brian Lenzmeier, and then a dance.
Ten individuals will be recognized for their impact on BVU including Keith Briscoe Award recipients Dr. Kyle Glienke and Dr. Kimberly Perez…John Fisher Award recipients Dr. Stacey Cole and Scott Hermann…Henry Olson Award winners Roger Fors and Rob Jones…and Outstanding Friends of the University Award recipients Dr. Kitty and Neal Conover, and David and Linda Wesselink.
Chris and Amy Friedrich and Tom and Jessica Mathisen will be honorary co-chairs for the evening.
