Storm Lake Radio spoke with Buena Vista County Conservation Board Director Greg Johnson this (Wed) morning regarding a holdup in the transfer of ownership of the Storm Lake Marina from the state to BV County.
The Board of Supervisors tabled the agreement at their meeting Tuesday morning…
Johnson said he’s hopeful that the matter will be resolved sooner than later.
The state previously wanted to retain the fishery/jetty area as well as the beach at the marina site. The remaining 16.5 acres of the property were expected to be deeded to BV County.
