A Jefferson teen has been charged following an alleged shooting earlier this month in Sac County.
According to court documents, 16-year-old Keegan Kennedy is charged with Attempted Murder for an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of May 4th a few miles east of Lake View. Kennedy and the victim were passengers in a vehicle and got into an argument. Kennedy allegedly took out a firearm and shot the victim in the face near 330th Street and Highway 71.
Authorities arrested Kennedy on May 7th. The Sac County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
