The Storm Lake Hy-Noon Kiwanis annual Labor Day “Escape to the Lake Kar Show” will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at Chautauqua Park. Registration will be held 9 a.m. to noon and awards will be given out at 3 p.m.
The public is invited from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with all proceeds going to Kiwanis supported community projects for children. Each year the Storm Lake Hy-Noon Kiwanis raises approx. $20,000 in support of youth activities and programs in Storm Lake. Supported programs include Community Ed Youth Recreation, Cub Scouts Pack 105, Scouts BSA Troop 103, Reading Railroad, Field of Dreams, Youth Scholarships, and Adopt a Family. Suggested donation for admission is $3 a person $5 per couple or $8 for families.
Enjoy over 30 classes of cars in the shade right along Storm Lake in Chautauqua Park. A noon meal of turkey fillet or pork burger, chips and a cookie will be prepared and served by the Storm Lake Kiwanis Beavers.
