During her reign, Miss Iowa 2023 has a goal she hopes to accomplish. Alysa Goethe has set her mind on visiting all of Iowa’s 99 counties at least once.
Goethe was in Webster County at Iowa Central’s campus this past Tuesday, Sept. 19th. She met with President Jesse Ulrich, foundation and marketing staff plus a group of five student ambassadors.
Goethe chatted with students about what drew them to Iowa Central, campus life, and more. She also spent time in rehearsal with the school’s choir. Goethe is a music educator who graduated from Drake University last year (2022) and taught middle school music in Des Moines.
She toured the campus, and she said she was impressed with the overall community and the support they have for Iowa Central.
