Pizza Ranch and the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) have
recently announced that Kasey Krager Head Girls’ Basketball Coach at
Sioux Central has been selected to coach the 2026 Pizza Ranch IBCA All-Star
team. Coach Krager will be joined by co-coach Reid Geerdes of
George – Little Rock to lead the Northwest team against three other teams from
around the state of Iowa.
There are four regions in the state of Iowa: NW / NE / SW / SE. Each class
selects two coaches and 12 players to represent their class. Four alternate players
are also selected in case of conflicts.
Games will be held March 28, 2026, at Dallas Center-Grimes High school in
Grimes. First-round games kick off at 10:45 am for the girls and 12:00 noon for
the boys. Championship and Consolation games will commence at 2:45 pm (Girls)
and 4:00 pm (Boys).
Congratulations to Coach Krager (pictured below) on this prestigious honor. It is a well-
deserved selection and represents his commitment to basketball and to the
coaching profession. This selection represents a great opportunity for him to
represent his program, school, and community in a great atmosphere coaching
many of the state’s finest and most talented basketball players.
